Tripp Stimson

Tripp is a 22-year industry veteran from Chattanooga, Tennessee, with deep expertise across the technical and operational spectrum of the distilled spirits industry. Following his graduation from Tennessee Technological University with a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology, he began his career in 2004 as a Research and Development Scientist with Brown-Forman Corporation, where he built a strong foundation in yeast management, fermentation, and distillation sciences.
Over the course of his career, Tripp has developed a comprehensive understanding of the systems and processes required to operate a successful and efficient distillery. He later founded his own consulting company, providing end-to-end technical guidance for the design, construction, and optimization of distillery operations. His work has been instrumental in the success of multiple distilleries across the United States.
In his current role, Tripp leads operations for Barrell Craft Spirits focusing largely on product development, blending, bottling, compliance, and logistics. He brings a rare combination of scientific expertise, operational leadership, and strategic insight, making him a trusted partner for organizations seeking to build, refine, or expand within the spirits sector.
